ABOUT

CREATING FOR A BETTER, MORE INCLUSIVE AND UNDERSTANDING SOCIETY.

Ezra Luke Cordero’Malley is a multidisciplinary artist and creative consultant who lives and works in Berlin. Born in San Francisco, he is a multi-cultural compsosite of heritages including Nicaraguan, Salvadoran, and Mexican.

His work deals with identity, ecology, and queer advocacy. He draws from his environments, emotions, nature and experiences. He works with various mediums including painting, illustration, photography, performance, and tattooing. At the heart of Ezra's work lies a profound appreciation for community, cultural diversity, personal growth, social consciousness, and building lasting bonds.

A self and classically taught artist, Ezra defies boundaries through his multidimensional approach with his romantic use of mediums. His captivating artworks span painting, illustration, photography, performance, and tattooing -revealing a spectrum of contemporary aesthetics and a forward-thinking artistic vision.

He works from a personal point of view that celebrates the body, intimacy, and exploration. Blurring the boundaries between fields, his inspirations are evident- juxtaposing vulnerability with curiosity and fearlessness; reflective of Ezra’s own character. He sees his process as offering a space for curiosity and emotional response necessary to highlight the need for diverse representation.

His commercial work focuses on helping people develop their stories and visual language, and creating sanctuary spaces where his philosophy revolves around uniting the elements of aesthetics, sustainability, with intention to promote connection, growth, and comfort.

Ezra welcomes collaborations in illustration, art direction, queer advocacy, publication artwork, community space art and design, culture studies, and socially conscious initiatives- Always intrigued by new and exciting, as yet unnamed things that are searching for the right minds to come together and bring them to life.

Art is not neutral. It either upholds or disrupts the status quo, advancing or regressing justice, [connection, and understanding].
